Celebrating the old, the rusty, the forgotten...
I discovered my love for watercolor after I retired. Since then I've taken workshops with renowned watercolor artists Linda Baker, Jaimie Cordero and Graham Berry.
My primary medium is transparent watercolor, using a pouring technique. But I also happily play with gel printing, acrylics, photography, polymer clay, and handmade books.
Old, rusty items always catch my attention, especially old cars, trucks and boats. It's not unusual for me to suddenly pull off the road and hop out of my car to get a reference photo of an old, beat-up object. Sadly (for me), they are getting harder to find.
I would love to hear from you about my art or to answer any questions you might have.
